Customer Profile: Our client is largest insurance provider.
Challenges: Assumed the size of the business and complexities
of the current business environment, the best method to addressing
their costs and concerns was to implement an enterprise document
management solution.
The corporation identified the following challenges:
- Diminish the average cost related with regulating a claim.
- Provision site autonomous claims processing (administration).
- Produce an electronic claim document accordingly eliminating self-managed paper based claim documents.

Solution:Â To implement a Document business process solution, Sresol directed a series of workshops expected at documenting the business processes being utilized in various claims branches. The workshops along with succeeding analysis, and rationalization produced a decrease in the number of unique business processes being used by Claims Assessors and allowed management the chance to select high worth of business processes to be addressed by the document management solution.
Document Management System and integrations using capture solution and Documentum platform
Customer Profile: Our client, is one of the largest owned bank, bank total assets account for over majority percent of the market share of the whole country banking system.
Challenges: Bank has business challenges in preserve of technical documents generated for DMS project and their version documents. Bank documents accessing form – all the branches. During this DMS project produces different type of documents, which are, Retail, corporate etc, however these documents came from other departments.
- Retail dept: This department receives the documents from different types of Retail customers and they also create some kind of subsidiary documents.
- Corporate dept: This department receives the documents from different types of corporate customers and they also create some kind of associate documents.Â
- Developing the DMS Solution for the above departments. These departments are not only in bank corporate office, but also in branches.
- Â Also responsible for migration and integration of existing custom application content management system over branches to Documentum system.
- Â Responsible for integration with proposed loan system.
Solution: To implement a DMS Documentum and Capture solution which will includeÂ
- Migration of documents to DMS around all branches in bank.
- Integration with third party content management system with DMS.Â
- Migration of personal related documents to DMS.Â
- Integration with existing system using custom web services.Â
- Implemented capture process for Documents are separated based on barcode, image processing using filters, extract the relevant data for indexing fields and validate all populated index values for each documentÂ
- Export these images including indexed data in the specified folder.
Documentum Record Management
Customer Profile: Our client, is one of the Federal Government Agency is
managing their records from various sections in various departments of
Federal Government Agencies.
Challenges: The Agency is maintaining the records from various departments. The objective of the Agency included maintaining records which are having same subject, activity or transaction, retaining and disposing records. The document received is of different subject, activity and for different transaction, it is facing difficulty in processing and managing these records with concerned departments.
Solution: Sresol led a series of workshops aimed at documenting the business processes being utilized in various departments. The workshops and records along
with subsequent analysis, “to-be” modeling, and rationalization yielded a 58% reduction in the number of unique processes being used by record managers and
allowed management the opportunity to select high value business processes to be addressed by the document management solution.
Documentum Upgrade
Customer Profile: Our customer was leading manufacturing company.
Challenge: Challenged with powerful competition and growing demands
for products from customers, client wanted to improve its operational efficiency, reduce costs, increase flexibility and introduce ever-better production quality control with efficient Documentum Document Management System. Existing DMS for hosting the production and operational documents could not support these intentions.
Solution: Sresol implemented Documentum upgrade from 6.x to 7.x version based on Microsoft SQL Database. With Sresol’s migration expertise all the documents,
content as well as metadata, TBO’s (Type Based Objects) and security objects were migrated to the Documentum 7.x with enhanced metadata. Sresol efforts
associated with upgrade to ensure a successful upgrade of the client environment, an initial migration analysis performed to assess the impact of the migration as well
as document the software environments. Sresol also analyzed client’s current customizations, in order to provide available upgrade paths. Client is managing
their documents using a Document Management System Powered by Documentum which consists of Content Server, custom web based Webtop application on
Windows operating system.
Customer Profile: Our customer was a corporation that designed and engineering products for visual infrastructures systems, communications examination and measurement kit, visual results for verification and attractive submissions.
Challenges: One of the largest makers of engineering products – standardized on a single platform for collaboration was of dominant importance. With an obsolete existing collaboration platform in place, as management decision was made to leave this system and move to Microsoft SharePoint as the corporate standard. The challenge centered on creating a migration solution that would be able to provide moving their highly customized data structures. Sresol involved with this customer providing both services that appreciated the customer’s existing team, as well delivered strong migration tools and reporting to simplify the process. The Customer had the following content migration business requirements: Migration of existing environment to SharePoint. Sresol provided a migration tool approach to this engagement. All of the customer plain and customized content had to be migrated into the SharePoint environment as per customer’s requirements.
Solution: Sresol implemented migration tool to meet these intentions and to accomplish this migration project. By deploying our services practice and using Sresol migration tool, Sresol delivery team was able to complete the migration on time and within the budgetary needs of the client.
